Why I do this work
You're not a number. Your plan shouldn't treat you like one.
I didn't get into financial services because I grew up dreaming about insurance or investments. I got into it because life changed the way I looked at money.
For nearly two decades, most people have known me through policing and training. That work taught me to stay calm, make complicated information understandable, and focus on what actually matters.
Having a daughter with additional needs made financial planning deeply personal. It forced my family to think differently about protection, flexibility, and the future—and showed me how valuable the right guidance can be when life doesn't follow a neat script.
Today, I bring that same practical, people-first approach to every conversation: listen first, explain clearly, and help you build a plan you understand and can live with.
Advice that connects today's decisions to tomorrow's goals.
We start with your real situation—not a product. Together, we look at what needs protecting, what you're working toward, and the most useful next step.
Insurance recommendations and insurance-based investment products are limited to my Ontario licence and active insurer appointments. Registered-account and RDSP information is educational; services outside that scope require an appropriately qualified professional.

Common questions
Before we sit down.
No jargon. No mystery. Here's what people often want to know first.
Do I need a lot of money to start planning?+
No. Good planning is about giving your money direction. Starting earlier—even with modest amounts—can create more options over time.
Is the initial conversation complimentary?+
Yes. The initial conversation is complimentary and there is no obligation to move forward. Any product costs, fees, and applicable compensation will be explained before you make a decision.
Can you review plans I already have?+
Yes. We can review insurance policies, segregated fund contracts, and workplace benefits within my licensed scope. For securities, pension administration, tax, or legal advice, I can help identify when another qualified professional is needed.
How are you compensated?+
I may receive commissions or other compensation when products are placed or maintained. Products can carry premiums, fees, and other charges. Insurer representation, compensation, and relevant conflicts of interest will be disclosed in writing before you decide to proceed.
Are recommendations limited to one provider?+
I work with options through Beneva, iA Financial Group, Canada Protection Plan, Manulife, and The Edge Benefits. Available products remain subject to my active licence, appointments, suitability, eligibility, and provider availability.
Do you only work with clients in Guelph?+
No. Virtual appointments are available for Ontario residents. I am licensed in Ontario; products remain subject to eligibility, suitability, and insurer availability.
Your next step
Let's have a conversation.
Tell me what's on your mind, what you're trying to solve, or what you want a second opinion on. The first conversation is simply a chance to see whether I'm the right person to help.
